Is it possible to eat what you like, most of the time, and get thinner and healthier as you do it? Simple answer: yes. You just have to restrict your calorie intake for two non-consecutive days each week (500 calories for women, 600 for men).

Each cookie contains around 60 calories and you would eat nine per day (one or two) at 2 hour intervals. Can you stick to that? I couldn't - I'd just go back and back and back ...

You then eat a healthy evening meal of around 500-700 calories which, in total, adds up to a total daily calorie intake of around 1,000 to 1,200, an effective amount for sensible manageable weight loss.
