About Paul

I founded Paul Wiseman Investigations in 2003 as a fraud investigation company working predominantly for small and medium sized enterprises.

I am a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Fraud Advisory Panel. All of my client’s automatically have access, through me to the resources of these organisations, and this access enables them to stay up to date with the latest anti-fraud techniques and employment legislation.

I help companies deal with "bad" employees; guiding them through the disciplinary process (following ACAS guidelines), assisting them with the recovery of assets where appropriate, and liaising with the police if they wish to prosecute. A "bad" employee does not just steal money; they can also steal time, information and inventory.

I am able to supply clients with information on prospective suppliers, customers and employees to enable them to make more informed decisions.

It is always more cost effective to prevent fraud than to investigate it, and so I am able to advise client’s on anti-fraud, ethics and whistle-blower policies to reduce their exposure to fraud. An active ethics policy, anti-fraud policy and whistle-blowing policy is a company's only defence if they are prosecuted under the Bribery Act 2010 as a corporate entity.

During my career as a fraud investigator, I have helped local businesses dismiss bad employees and recover the assets taken.
